Hi there!

Welcome back one and all to the Gazelle.ai Newsletter. We have, dare I say it, quite a treat lined up for you this week - namely, our Food- and AgTech Extravaganza!

Be sure to stick around to the very end this week so that you can see all of our industry analysis, company highlights, key trade shows, and featured lists for all parts of the Food- and AgTech sectors.

That's, as always, a lot of content to get to, so let's dive right in, shall we?

Check out this list of 82 high-G-score companies in the Ag- and FoodTech sectors which have exhibited at a trade show! Following which shows they all attend can lead you to some unexpected places for more companies like them, from CES to Agritechnica.

Content Corner: The New FoodTech Gladiators

Next up, we have a message from our friends over at the Gazelle.ai blog. They've recently put together a very thoughtful look at what the next few years for the Food- and AgTech industries will hold. Here's a little sneak peek to see what I mean:

The decreasing availability of farmland and land otherwise available for food production seems destined to increase the value of companies that promise to make more efficient use of it.

Second, increasing protein consumption across the developing world and changing tastes and habits in more developed economies seems guaranteed to continue creating openings for companies that seek to change the things we eat – and the ways in which we eat them.

Finally, an enhanced focus on the environmental impacts of our diets is unlikely to disappear in the near future. And as people become ever more focused on how what they eat is changing the environment of the places in which they live, we’re likely to continue seeing growth in companies that help mitigate the impacts of climate change and other environmental effects.

Highlighted AgTech and FoodTech Companies

Our first highlight, Indigo (G-score: 5) - no, dear Canadian readers, not the bookstore - is taking some truly extraordinary steps in making agriculture environmentally positive. Their cutting-edge analytics helps food producers increase the carbon in their soil, while simultaneously reducing their total carbon output. Not only does this make farms more sustainable and efficient, but Indigo then also helps their clients acquire and sell lucrative carbon credits, letting them do well by doing good.

Of course, any new tech solution is only as good as its implementation. Enter, Agrisource Data (G-score: 4). Their comprehensive crop data analytics system is designed to fit seamlessly into everyday farm operations, giving growers and operators the vital data they need with minimal disruption. There's a good reason their clients have reported an average of 8% crop yield and, in total, millions of liters of water saved!

As I'm sure you know, we love to show off what exciting things are happening in the field of AI, so imagine our joy at bringing you Santiago, Chile-based NotCo (G-score: 5). Their AI algorithms, named Giuseppe, are specifically designed to create healthy, plant-based alternatives for a wide range of foods. NotCo is an amazing fit for anyone looking to promote both food manufacturing and a local tech sector!

They aren't the only ones making waves in the snack food sector, though! Gazelle.ai users who are interested in East Asia should pay particularly close attention to Boxgreen (G-score: 5). Based in Singapore, Boxgreen has made a huge splash with its line of healthy, tasty snacks. Featuring a wide and delicious product line, Boxgreen is poised to make serious moves throughout the region and beyond!

Finally this week, we'd like to call your attention to a hugely important issue and the company bravely at the front line to fight it. Did you know that around half of the world's food goes to waste every year? Apeel Sciences (G-score: 6) sure does, and they're ready to help solve the problem! They've developed a revolutionary new anti-spoilage system that keeps produce fresher, longer, reducing spoilage and making a huge difference in the food industry's carbon footprint as well as its water usage.

Excited by these possibilities? Looking for even more? Be sure to check out the thousands of companies just like these - and millions of companies across the economic spectrum - in our Company Finder.

Food- and AgTech Trade Shows to Watch

Moving into the back half of our offerings this week, we have three absolutely delicious trade shows to help you dig into the FoodTech and AgTech sectors.

First up, we have the aptly named Sweets and Snacks Expo, taking place in Indianapolis in June, most recently June 22-25 of this year. But do not despair! This show is absolutely chock-full of great leads, from confirmed Gazelle projects Hippeas and Pretzels, Inc. to delightful treat producers like Seattle Chocolate. This is a must-see list for the snack food sector!

On the agricultural side, we have a major double-header coming right up next month: Greentech Amsterdam and its sister show, Greentech Americas will both be taking place from August 24-26. Both of these shows are great places to target both the FoodTech industry and the broader GreenTech market! Be sure to give companies like VRE Systems, Heliospectra, and Lumigrow a look!

Finally, we would be remiss if we didn't recommend AmericanHort Cultivate - the premier event for the horticultural industry in North America. From sensor manufacturers Apogee Instruments to agricultural marketing giants Riceland Foods, this is a valuable list to cover all aspects of the agriculture industry.

Have trade shows we haven't included here you'd like to see? Be sure to let us know. For now, let's bring this newsletter home with some hot featured lists!

Food- and AgTech Featured Lists

The food and beverage sector is enormous, but some few companies nevertheless bestride the market like a colossus, employing tens of thousands of employees worldwide. To help you attract these titans of food and beverage, we've compiled the World's Top Food and Beverage List. The very biggest names are here, and ready to make a difference in your area.

Not to be outdone, our dauntless Data Curation team have put together a cracking list of the Fastest-Growing AgTech Companies in Gazelle. This is a fantastic list to kickstart your outreach and - hey, wouldn't you know it - there's Indigo and Apeel Sciences again! Seems like those are some really strong leads - wink wink, nudge nudge.

All levity aside, that will about do it for us this week. Have lists you'd like us to match, trade shows to add, features to consider? As always please don't hesitate to let us know.

Otherwise, I'll bid you all a lovely rest of your week and wish you all the best and Happy Gazelleing!
