We’ve already shown you how to set reminders to follow up on companies at a specific date/time using the ‘Notes’ section on a company profile. Now, let’s take you through setting up news alerts!

If you find a company or industry you’d like to track, simply follow these steps to set up your custom e-mail subscription. When there are news articles published about either, they’ll be sent straight to your inbox so you don’t miss a beat!

On the home page, click on the grey tile entitled “My Gazelle.ai Feed” at the bottom of the screen. This will open the Gazelle.ai Feeds tab where you can customize your daily subscription.

Just click on Enable Your Custom Report and start customizing! You can add keywords like ‘fintech’, industries like ‘aerospace’, or companies like ‘AirBnB’.

We've put a few already as suggestions, but you can add anything you'd like. Type in your custom term(s) and click on the ‘+’ sign. Once you’ve added all the keywords, industries and companies you’d like to keep tabs on, you’ll begin to receive daily reports on the most relevant news.

Gazelle Pro Tip:

Get creative and strategic with what news you track! Add alerts for the top employers in your region, hot leads you are pursuing, emerging industries you want to know inside out, the list goes on. Meeting with a company at an upcoming event or trade show? Set up an alert for them, too!

Don't need to be on the 'need to know' anymore?

You can remove any of your alerts by clicking on the 'x' on a specific term. You can also unsubscribe to all alerts by clicking on the trash can icon and disabling the Custom Subscription completely.

Please note: Certain companies might be covered a lot in the news at any given time for a multitude of reasons. Increased media coverage could be:

  • Positive: new product launches, partnerships, hiring announcements for C-suite execs, acquisitions, strong performance numbers, etc.

  • Negative: controversies, poor performance, investor exits, bankruptcy, etc.

It’s good to keep this in mind once you start receiving your alerts. Some news items might be very helpful towards your overall efforts, while others might flag a lead that is best not to pursue.

You now follow the companies you find in Gazelle. You simply need to click the follow button in the company profile and it will add this company to your custom subscription. This way you won't miss out on any news!
