The Importance of Saving Your Company Lists in Gazelle.ai

When you compile a list in Gazelle.ai of company prospects you want to make sure that you save that list with a detailed description so that you can come back to it later or in any event, it does not get lost. Saving these already compiled lists saves you time and makes your searching more efficient.

Saving Companies To A Folder

Step One:

At the top left of your results, click the Save Companies button.

Step Two:

A pop-up window appears entitled Save Companies, with a dialogue bar that allows you to find and select an existing folder or to create a brand new one entirely.

Pro Tip: If you are selecting an existing folder, start typing out its name and click on the folder when it appears within the dialogue bar.

If you want to create a new folder, type out what you want to name your folder in the dialogue bar and click “create option [your new folder name]”.

Step Three:

Once your folder has been selected or created, choose whether you want your list to have Selected Results (chosen by ticking the boxes to the left of the company name in the Company Finder), Top 100 Results, Top 500 Results, or All Results.

Pro tip: Your search results, by default, are sorted by highest G-Score to lowest. If you decide to change the sort order (e.g. by revenue, number of employees, etc), the top 100 and top 500 results will be adjusted accordingly.

Now, hit the save button and you’re all set!

Your saved results can be accessed when you click on My Folders in the drop-down menu below your Gazelle account name or via the My Folders tile or icon on the homepage.

Hey... why don’t you just download all the companies right away?

While the download option is a very important (dare I say beloved) feature in Gazelle.ai, we want to help you stay focused! Folders can keep things tidy by helping you segment your lists as you build them.

Let’s use this as an example: Both of your colleagues are planning a mission to a specific region, but one is focused on fintech while the other is focused on pharmaceutical companies.

You can create separate folders for each one, adding new companies you find to each respective folder as you go along.

Another example: You’re looking for Drone companies, but notice the top 500 results are different when using a NAICS code versus using the keyword ‘Drone’.

Downloading them separately as two CSV files can result in the same company appearing in both files.

If you were to save the top 500 from both searches to the same folder, you avoid any duplicates as a company can only be added once to a folder. This means no duplicates when you download from the folder itself (plus you can download more than 500!)
